Spectrum Leisure Training is a specialist provider of training courses for leisure facility, swimming pool and spa pool operators. Our courses cover every aspect of efficient pool and spa pool operation, hygiene and cleanliness, ensuring staff are equipped to meet the highest legal and regulatory standards, including HSG 179 "Management of Health & Safety in Swimming Pools" and "Pool Water Quality Standards" PWTAG.
Spectrum Leisure Training delivers Active IQ accredited courses by the Institute of Sport and Recreational Management (ISRM) including the Active IQ Certificate in Swimming Pool Plant Operations Part 1 and the Active IQ Certificate in Pool Operations Part 2. These courses are specifically designed for public swimming pools and leisure centres. The Active IQ Certificate in Pool Operations Part 1 is accredited at NVQ level 2 and Part 2 at NVQ level 3.
Spectrum Leisure Training provides both accredited and non-accredited courses that provide the essential underpinning knowledge to provide your staff with the operational and management training they need to deliver the high standards your customers demand.
Spectrum Leisure Training can offer the STA Pool and Spa Plant Operators course. This course is designed for facility operators to meet their statutary requirements under health and safety legislation. The STA Pool and Spa Plant Operators course is accredited at NVQ level 2.
In addition Spectrum Leisure Training provides non accredited training courses for smaller pool operators including schools, health clubs and hotels Pool Carers Certificate. This course is based on "Pool Water Quality Standards" (PWTAG) which delivers essential knowledge to operational staff working in smaller pool and spa facilities.
For leisure centre duty managers we deliver the ISRM Supervisory Management Certificate and for leisure assistants we deliver the Sports and Leisure Operators Certificate.
All courses are delivered by Active IQ, STA and ISRM certified trainers and are available at venues throughout the UK. Please see the course calendar for more details. Alternatively, if you have 6 or more delegates, we will be pleased to undertake in-house training at your premises.
